These Terms govern your access to and use of SuppsBuddy.com and related services, including any apps, features, content, and tools we provide (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1) Agreement to these Terms
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and SuppsBuddy (“SuppsBuddy,” “we,” “our,” “us”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3) Not medical advice; no doctor–patient relationship (critical)
SuppsBuddy does not provide medical services and is not a medical provider.
The Service is for educational and informational purposes only. We do not diagnose conditions, provide medical treatment, prescribe medications, or provide personalized medical advice. Your use of the Service does not create a doctor–patient relationship.
Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional with questions you may have regarding a medical condition, symptoms, medications, supplements, or a treatment plan. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information from the Service.
If you think you may have a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.
4) Your responsibilities and assumptions of risk
You are responsible for how you use the Service and for all decisions you make based on any information, summaries, interpretations, or recommendations provided.
Supplements and lifestyle changes may cause side effects, interactions (including with medications), allergic reactions, or other risks. You are solely responsible for checking labels, contraindications, dosage, interactions, and suitability with your healthcare professional—especially if you are pregnant, nursing, have underlying conditions, or take prescription or OTC medications.
You agree not to rely on the Service as a substitute for professional judgment, and you accept that using the Service is at your own risk.
5) AI outputs; accuracy; limitations
The Service may include automated or AI-assisted analysis of information you provide (such as lab values, questionnaire answers, or uploaded documents). AI can make mistakes, omit context, misunderstand inputs, or produce incomplete or incorrect outputs.
You understand and agree that:
- Outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current.
- Outputs may be generalized and may not reflect your full medical history or unique circumstances.
- You should verify any important information with a qualified professional before acting on it.
6) Accounts, authentication, and security
If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or use of your account. We may suspend or terminate access to protect you, the Service, or other users.
7) Uploads, lab results, and user content
You may upload information (including lab reports, biomarkers, PDFs, images, questionnaire responses, or other data) to receive educational interpretation. You represent and warrant that you have the rights and permissions to provide that content, and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.
You are responsible for reviewing your source documents and confirming correctness (e.g., units, reference ranges, dates, and whether values were fasting/non-fasting). We are not responsible for errors in your source materials.
By submitting content, you grant SuppsBuddy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
8) Privacy; health data; consents; third parties
Your privacy matters. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy (linked below). By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of data as described there.
Some of the information you provide may relate to your health. You understand that sharing any health information carries inherent privacy and security risks, including the risk of unauthorized access or re-disclosure.
The Service may rely on third-party infrastructure/providers (for example, authentication, hosting, analytics). We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party services you choose to use or link to.
9) Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. You will not, and will not attempt to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload content you do not have rights to provide, including content that infringes IP or privacy rights.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, probe, or circumvent security or access controls.
- Interfere with the Service (e.g., malware, automated abuse, denial-of-service, excessive requests).
- Misrepresent your identity or the source/meaning of data you upload.
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate your access.
10) Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, UI, text, graphics, software, and all related content (excluding your content), is owned by SuppsBuddy or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use the Service only as permitted by these Terms. You may not copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, sell, or exploit any part of the Service without our prior written permission.
11) Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that outputs will be accurate or suitable for your purposes.
12) Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUPPSBUDDY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
This includes, without limitation, any loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or personal injury arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, AI outputs, or any actions you take based on information from the Service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SUPPSBUDDY FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. If those laws apply to you, some limitations may not apply.
13) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SuppsBuddy and its founders, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Service and any decisions or actions you take based on the Service.
- Your uploaded content and any allegation it infringes rights or violates law.
- Your violation of these Terms.
14) Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we need to protect the Service, users, or our legal interests.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Certain provisions of these Terms will survive termination, including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution provisions.
15) Disputes; arbitration; class action waiver
Please read this section carefully.
Informal resolution first: before filing a claim, you agree to contact us to try to resolve the dispute informally.
Arbitration: to the extent permitted by law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, and not in court.
Class action waiver: you and SuppsBuddy agree that each may bring claims against the other only in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.
Note: Arbitration requirements vary by jurisdiction. If your local law restricts arbitration or class waivers for certain claims, those restrictions will apply.
16) Governing law; venue
These Terms will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SuppsBuddy is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where arbitration is not permitted or not applicable, you agree that claims will be brought in a competent court located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
17) Miscellaneous
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a business transfer.
- Entire agreement: These Terms (and the Privacy Policy) form the entire agreement about the Service.
